Dia de la Raza
The “Dia de la Raza” (in the USA “Columbus Day”) is celebrated the 12th Oct in Guadalajara and maybe also in other Mexican cities. Instead for celebrating that Columbus discovered a new part of the world, in Mexico it is celebrated, that the different races can live together. Usually there will be danced all the day and night, but unfortunately here in Guadalajara it was different this year. What happened? Follow the link to Jalisco and scroll down to the 12th Oct. There you can read about it.
You can also read about my tour to Chapala and the Lake of Chapala on this site. Just continue reading after 12th Oct.
By the way, the blog is just now really up-to-date including photos and links to more photos.
Enjoy and stay tuned!
