Cave Tubing, Zip Lining and Hiking

I love to try new things and stretch my borders. Though I followed the recommendations of my former host Johanna in Orange Walk and booked a tour with cave tubing and zip lining. The following day I had a mini hike. That sounds adventurous, right?

If you want to know more about it, follow the link for Belize and scroll down to the 21st June.

… and stay tuned, there is more to come.

Mountain Pine Ridge

If you are tired of beaches, you should go to the Cayo District in Belize. Here you can find forest reserves, waterfalls, caves and more. It is adventurous, even with a guide. You actually need a car, if you do not book a guided tour, but you will miss all the interesting knowledge of your guide, because he will tell you about flora and fauna as well.

Come and follow me to the first guided tour I really enjoyed. You find the text by following the link for Belize and scrolling down to the 19th June. If you will not wish to see the area as well, I will be surprised. Enjoy and stay tuned for my next great adventures.

San Ignacio, Cayo, Belize

San Ignacio, Macal River

After travelling along the coast, I am now visiting the inland. I was so surprised about San Ignacio and it’s surroundings. Not far away are hills and forest reserves. San Ignacio itself is a small, charming town, partly touristic, but in the rain-/low season, where we are now, the amount of tourists is rather small.

For reading about my few days in San Ignacio follow the link to Belize and scroll down to the 18th June. Enjoy and look forward to tomorrow.
