Dia de la Raza

The “Dia de la Raza” (in the USA “Columbus Day”) is celebrated the 12th Oct in Guadalajara and maybe also in other Mexican cities. Instead for celebrating that Columbus discovered a new part of the world, in Mexico it is celebrated, that the different races can live together. Usually there will be danced all the day and night, but unfortunately here in Guadalajara it was different this year. What happened? Follow the link to Jalisco and scroll down to the 12th Oct. There you can read about it.

You can also read about my tour to Chapala and the Lake of Chapala on this site. Just continue reading after 12th Oct.

By the way, the blog is just now really up-to-date including photos and links to more photos.

Enjoy and stay tuned!

Guadalajara

I am in Guadalajara, Jalisco since 10th Oct 2018. Because of the update of my report about my travel throughout the state of Guanajuato, there is only one sentence so far about Guadalajara. You are welcome to read the facts about the town and the state of Jalisco as well about my days in the area of San Miguel de Allende by following respective link. For the town of San Miguel de Allende you have to scroll down to the 5th October 2018. I also have added more photos to the site of Guanajuato.

Enjoy and stay tuned, please!

San Miguel Allende

San Miguel Allende is a town in the state of Guanajuato. I have a host there as well and people to meet. Unfortunately my host Robert, around 70 years old, has no Internet. Though I think you have to wait for my new updates for some days.

During the waiting time you can look at the photos I have added to Guanajuato city.

As usual: Enjoy and stay tuned, please!
