Riding Miss Piggy Northbound

I have entered Israel from the South a week ago and am going to a special place tomorrow, called Nitzana, which I have got an invitation for. During last week I have been in Eilat, a kibbutz called Neot Samadar, the Negev desert and am now in Mitzpe Ramon, which is the highest city of Israel and really cold in February. The thermometer only shows +2°C during the night and daytime the temperature reaches not more than +12°C. Though I dress layer on layer as I am used from home – and I am dreaming about warm days and nights.

I have a visa for three month, but like it seems now, I’ll leave Israel at Haifa Mid March.

Btw: I am looking for a boat between Cyprus (Greek part) to Greece Mid of March, because it seems, there is an opportunity from Haifa, Israel to Cyprus (Greek part) together with two other bicycle travellers. I let you know if something changes.
